The Process
The process is quite easy, it typically takes between 12-16 weeks depending on size of bouquet/ flowers, items ordered and time of year, however timescales can vary. Once an order is placed I send specific instructions along with the address for you to send your flowers ensuring they arrive in the best possible condition. Whether you send part or all of your bouquet/ arrangement is dependent upon what you are ordering and we will advise you on this . It’s important to send more flowers than needed as some may not dry well. They would need to be ideally sent within 2 - 3 days of the event. (This is a recommendation not essential) When I receive them I put them into dry for several weeks and contact you just before I start making the order keeping you updated all the way.
Customisations:
Embellishments or personalisation can also be added to the piece e.g confetti, ribbons, charms etc. Also gold, silver or copper leaf can be included or a persons name/mum/dad etc. There is no extra charge for this service. Please leave a note on specific requirements in the comments when ordering.
Order process & timing:
Flowers must be thoroughly dried before placing in the resin otherwise they will spoil. The preserving process is all part of the service we provide. We can also accept flowers that you have dried yourself or source the colour flowers for you. Once an order is received we will send you instructions on how to package and send your flowers to ensure they arrive safely. Once we receive your flowers we will put them to bed to dry which takes at least a few weeks depending on the flowers. Preserving flowers may result in some minor colour change. This is completely normal. Once dried the design and encapsulation process begins. We will keep you updated throughout the whole process which typically can take between 12 and 16 weeks depending on the size and specifics of the order. Dispatch & delivery:
Custom orders will be dispatched within 3 days of completion. We will keep you updated throughout the whole process so you are always in the loop on overall timings. Delivery date is an estimate and not guaranteed.
Refunds:
Please note that custom orders cannot be refunded. However, we will work closely with you every step of the way to ensure you are happy with the results.
Care & maintenance:
These handcrafted items need to be kept out of direct sunlight to maintain quality. Also avoid using any cleaning chemicals or perfume sprays etc. They can be cleaned with a damp cloth as needed and a soft cloth to polish. Care instruction details will be sent with the order.
